Provides specially designed instruction for students' academic, social, emotional and behavioral needs, utilizing structured teaching methods that provide external supports for attention and executive functioning and visuals to supplement and support communication; -
Creates an environment to support students' total communication needs; -
Collaborates with team members including related service providers and classroom staff to develop, implement and monitor IEP accommodations, modifications, supports and goals; -
Directs classroom staff in the daily instruction and support of students; -
Evaluates and reports on students' progress at designated intervals according to school procedures; -
Operates under school policies, procedures, and regulations; -
Participates in the development of curriculum and programs; -
Serves as case manager for assigned students; -

Plans and implements student-centered, evidenced-based instructional practices that build on student assets and is culturally responsive to promote the development of the whole child; -
