- Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Anthropology, or Human Services; OR
- Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State-registered college or university with an Associate Degree and two years of experience in working with disadvantaged or at-risk children; OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience within the limits of (A) and (B).
