Work Hours: Monday - Friday ; 8:00A - 2:45P
A certified Foreign Language Teacher teaches students how to read, write, and understand foreign languages. The teacher provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

Creates lesson plans that utilize various curriculum resources to teach students how to interpret foreign languages; helps students develop an appreciation for the cultures and countries in which the language is spoken

Integrates competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans and creates instructional resources for use in the classroom

Meets course and school-wide student performance goals; regularly observes and evaluates student performance; communicates student progress as required, at least quarterly

Manages student behavior in the classroom by following approved classroom management protocols

Creates a positive and engaging educational climate

Participates in the professional community by communicating regularly with administration and staff, and maintaining appropriate training and professional development
