Work Hours : To Be Determined 

The  classroom  teacher  shall  be  directly responsible to the Principal for Innovative Programs or other designated supervisor for the purpose of carrying out assigned portions of the educational program.

  • Plan appropriately for class presentation.
  •  Adapt methods and materials to meet students' individual needs and abilities.
  • Orient students in regard to subject content, goals and objectives and teach them in a consistent manner.
  •  Present recommended course content in assigned classes.
  •  Control and supervise classes in a manner that will be conducive to learning.
  • Evaluate  and  report  on  student  progress  at  designated  intervals according to established procedures.
  •  Maintain student attendance records in the prescribed manner.
  •  Be familiar with and operate under school policies, procedures  and regulations.
  • Supervise the care and use of classroom equipment and supplies and maintain proper inventory procedures.
  •   Maintain supervision necessary for general student safety and control.
  • Participate in the  development of curriculum and programs.
  • Cooperate with professional and non-professional staff of this school district and other school districts in collaborative activities.
  •  Serve as case manager for assigned students.
  • And other such duties as may be assigned.
$50,678-$71,564,annually
