Flexible scheduling will be considered.

Responsible for providing CDL training using instructional methods geared toward the adult learner;

Plan lessons based on the learning needs of culturally diverse and multi-skill level students which prepare students to gain/increase skills in the area of CDL driving;

Plan and prepare relevant and practical in-cab lessons and monitor students' performance;

Implement a variety of instructional delivery methods that include group or individualized instruction;

Create a climate that encourages and supports learning;

Complete and maintain appropriate student registration, attendance, and assessment records;

Responsible for effective in-cab management that enhances student learning;

Perform other duties as assigned.

Demonstrated two (2) years experience as a CDL driver* AND
-
Valid NYS CDL A & B Licensure

*Behind the wheel instructors must hold CDL of the same (or higher) class and/or the same endorsement required to operate the type of vehicle in which the training is provided*.
